Richard D. Spencer swam into the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, he was 74 years old.
Richard was a steadfast and Godly man of faith, beloved by those who knew him. He was one of the founders of IBT “Integrated Biometric Technology” and took pride in his work. He loved music and sang incessantly. While living in Iowa, he was a member of a country band called “Dick Spencer and the Day Dreamers.” After giving his life to the Lord, he moved his family to Nashville for work where he would also record his gospel album.
He lived his life serving God in ministry. In the states, he served with Gideons, traveled to churches preaching and giving his testimony, and led a Bible study in one of the prisons in Nashville.
He enjoyed hunting and everything outdoors, as well as fishing and teaching his children and grandchildren to fish. He was well traveled and loved the Caribbean. He co-founded New Hope International Missions in India with his dear friend, the late Pastor Surendra Babie over twenty years ago. God gave him an unfailingly compassionate heart for the widows and orphans in India. Above all, he led and loved his family well.
