Charles Gaylon Parrish of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, he was 76 years old.

Charles was born in Lebanon, TN and was the son of the late, Russell Dee Parrish and Mary Elizabeth Esters Parrish.

He was a 1964 graduate of Mt. Juliet High School and a veteran of the U.S. Army. Charles, with his brother, Robert, was the owner of Parrish Brothers Construction and Charles later owned Charles G. Parrish Construction. He was a member of Mt. Juliet Masonic Lodge #642 F&AM.

Charles was also preceded in death by his brothers, Terry and Jack Parrish and his sister, Peggy Sharpe.

He is survived by:
Wife of 55 years – Betty Parrish
Daughters – Pamela (Andy) Frangenberg and Ashley Parrish
Brothers – Robert (Barbara) Parrish and Ronald (Regina) Parrish
Grandchildren – Charles Jordan “C.J.” Parrish and Jakob Christian Frangenberg

Family and friends will gather to Celebrate the Life of Charles from 1-5 p.m. Sunday, November 20, 2022 at Bond Memorial Chapel.

Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the Alzheimers Foundation.

  1. My thoughts and prayers go out to Betty and the entire Parrish family. Charles was always a favorite, I even named my son after him. Charles was a sweet and kind man. He and Bard always liked to go as Rick and Fabian in high school and now they are together again in heaven. He will be greatly missed.
