Joel David “Joe” Gregory age 78 of Watertown, Tennessee passed away on Friday, July 28, 2023 following a brief illness.
Born Dec. 12, 1944 in Trousdale County, he was the son of the late Rom Wright Gregory and Ruth Jones Gregory and was preceded in death by a sister, Deloris Gregory Jones and brother, Kelvin S. Gregory.
Joe was a graduate of Macon Co. High School and was a retired machinist with TRW Ross Gear.
He is survived by his daughters, Amy Gregory and her fiance, Tracy Brown of Old Hickory and Joy Mangrum and her husband, Wade of Brentwood; grandchildren, Jackson and Callie Mangrum; sisters, Dianne Gregory of Lebanon and Kathy Evitts of Dixon Springs; special friend, Melissa Carter of Nashville; nieces and nephews, Anissa Young, Darrell Jones, Jared (Pam) Gregory, Nathan (Amber) Gregory, Keri (Jonathan) Scearce, Phillip (Nicole) Dean, Jason (Ashlea) Evitts.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 3, 2023 at Hunter Funeral Home with Ron Gillihan officiating. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. on Wednesday and from 11 a.m. till service time on Thursday. Pallbearers, Darrell Jones, Jared Gregory, Nathan Gregory, Jason Evitts, Jonathan Scearce, Phillip Dean, Wayne Howard, Scott Howard.
