May 20, 2024 – A man is behind bars after shooting and killing his wife at an apartment complex in Lebanon over the weekend.
Around 12:26 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to 502 Fairview Avenue, The Ridge Apartments, in reference to shots fired. Upon arrival, officers found a female who had been shot multiple times. The female was quickly transported to Vanderbilt-Wilson, where she succumbed to her injuries.
The investigation revealed that Steve Yarbrough, 42, shot the victim, his wife, multiple times and fled the scene.
Yarbrough, of Lebanon, peacefully turned himself into officers around 12pm at the Lebanon Police Department.
