Elizabeth Parker Pepper, age 88, of Mt. Juliet, TN passed away on February 26, 2024.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Perry Parker.
Betty is survived by her husband Barton Pepper, her children, Susan (David) Parker, Liz (Mark) Clary and Jim Parker (fiancée Diane Nixon and son Dillan); as well as her grandchildren Lindsey (Sascha) Henderson, Bryan (Melissa) Clary, Kendall, Cameron, and Noah Parker and her precious great-grandchildren James and Wyatt Clary. She was also blessed to have Barton’s children, Fred (Kathy) Pepper, David Pepper and Kathy (Dan) Barachkov in her family.
Betty was an avid reader, gardener, knitting champion and thrilled supporter of her minister husband’s life. She was a lifelong learner and still told us things she longed to learn in the days before her death. We are sure that she is eagerly exploring the mysteries of God’s glorious wonders even now.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, February 29, 2024 at Bethlehem United Methodist Church, Lebanon, TN. Visitation will be 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Thursday.
