Robin Hughes passed away on May 10, 2024 at age 58.
Robin Lynn Savell Hughes was born in Houston TX to Norma D. Chapel Savell and James Savell.
Robin was a homemaker and a homebody. She enjoyed gardening, especially flowers, decorating, and refinishing furniture. She loved Christmas, partly because it gave her the opportunity to use all her hobbies in home decorating. Robin had a big heart for turtles so she had a tendency to stop traffic to move turtles out of the road. She believed in BigFoot.
Robin Hughes is survived by her partner of 27 years, husband of 12: Terry Hughes; siblings: John Wiseman, Richard (Barbara) Savell, Judy (Greg) Hill, Jill (Chris) Rogers, and Jo “Sissy” Savell; nieces and nephews: Adam, William, Jason, Steven, Richard, Chris, Shannon, Richelle, Austin, Mark, Brandi, and many more beloved nieces and nephews; and special dog “AD”.
She is preceded in death by parents Norma and James Savell, brothers Mike Wiseman and Charlie Savell, and baby sister Jannette “Buttons” Savell.
The Funeral Service, conducted by Brother Danny Sellars, is at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 18, 2024 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home. Burial in Bethlehem Cemetery will follow the service. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Saturday from noon until the service at 1 p.m.
