It is with deep sadness that we announce the untimely passing of Lance Corporal Macon, Brice Messenger, a 22-year-old Marine, who passed away on December 31, 2023.

Brice was born on September 22, 2001, in Mount Juliet, where he spent his childhood before joining the United States Marine Corps in 2021.

Brice was a remarkable individual who brought joy into the lives of everyone who knew him. He possessed a rare combination of intelligence, strength, athleticism, kindness, and compassion that made him a standout among his peers. Despite his many talents and accomplishments, he remained humble, grounded, and always willing to lend a helping hand.

The news of his passing has left a profound impact on the hearts of those who knew him. However, Brice’s spirit and light will continue to shine on in the days to come. His legacy of kindness, compassion, and selflessness will inspire others to follow in his footsteps and make a positive impact on the world.

Brice’s memory will forever be cherished by his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to cross paths with him. He was more than just a good kid; he was a shining example of what it means to be a caring and compassionate human being. His loss is deeply felt, but his legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched.

The Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 11th from 4-8 pm and again on Friday, January 12th from 9-10 am at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet. The Graveside Service will follow the Visitation on Friday, January 12th at 11 am at The Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery; 7931 McCrory Ln, Nashville, TN 37221.
