Mrs. Zenaida Potes Hraba of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, May 21, 2022, she was 85 years old.
Mrs. Zenaida was a devout Catholic and was very strong in her faith. Nothing compared to the love she had for her family. Showing off the kids’ musical talents brought her joy and she loved it when her boys would bring her fish. She was a social butterfly, some of her favorite hobbies were camping and cookouts with her family, bingo, and mahjong with her girlfriends. She was especially proud to be involved in the Fil-Am Association especially choreographing traditional Filipino folk dancing. Zenaida was a strong military wife and mother to all. When she was around, no one went hungry! She spread love and joy to all those around her and her memories will continue to make people smile.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Edward Hraba, II; parents, Isaac and Salvation Potes; 8 brothers and sisters; and brothers-in-law, Richard Hraba and Larry Steele.
She is survived by her children, Michael Hraba, Christine (Patrick) Bald, Robert (Leann) Hraba III, Kimberly (Stephen) Price, Mark (Jackie) Hraba, and Ligaya (Tammy Dukewich) Hraba; brother, Rudy; sisters, Josie, Ninay, and Norma; sister-in-law, Grace Hraba; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and countless friends also survive.
The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2022, at 11:30 am at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Stephen Price officiating. The Interment will follow the service at Middle TN Veterans Cemetery at 2 pm with Mike Hraba, Robert Hraba, Mark Hraba, Kenneth Bald, Glenn Steele, and Edward Hraba serving as pallbearers; and Chase Steele, Patrick Bald, Eric Mattar, Jamie May, Geraden Hraba, Isaac Price, Ryan Whited, Chris Rolfes, Audrey Ross, Lety Novae, Stephanie Vasquez, and Arturo Gallardo serving as Honorary Pallbearers. The Visitation will also be held on Thursday, May 26th from 9:30 am until service time at 11:30 am.
