William “Bill” Day of Lebanon passed away Friday, April 14th, 2024.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Sue Day, and his parents, Frank and Myrtle Day.
Bill is survived by his brothers, Fred (Judy) Day and Harry Day, and his sister, Martha (Barry) Grussner. He is also survived by his stepchildren Connie Constance English, Joseph Shirley, and Cynthia Shirley, as well as his grandchildren, Makaili (Micah) Hodge, Dalton Glover, Jarret (Susie) Shirley, and Savannah (Matt) Howard. Additionally, Bill leaves behind numerous great-grandchildren and other loving family members.
Nicknamed “Wild Bill”, he was also affectionately called “Papoo” by his grandchildren. Bill enjoyed driving Mustangs, riding Harley Davidsons, and working as a Manager at AFTCO. He also had a passion for hunting and fishing, spending much of his free time outdoors.
Graveside services to honor Bill will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 27th, 2024, at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Lebanon, TN. Bill will be remembered for his adventurous spirit and love for his family. https://partlowchapel.com
