Frank Abercrombie, age 91 of Lebanon, Tennessee, passed away on April 27, 2024.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 30 years, Janice Abercrombie; parents, Leonard and Lorene Abercrombie; sons, Robert Wayne Abercrombie and Calvin Abercrombie; sisters, Clara Abercrombie and Marie (OJ) Labor; brothers, Ballard Abercrombie and Glen (Carvy) Abercrombie and cousin, Max Ballard.
He is survived by daughters, Noel (Roger) Tippett, Bertie (Steve) Russo; son Darroll Abercrombie; grandchildren, Jeremie (Donna) Abercrombie, Robert Abercrombie Jr., Aaron (Brittany) Russo, Carl Russo, Alyssa Tippett and Chaz Tippett; great-grandchildren, Olivia Abercrombie and Bailey Russo.
Frank was a retired Master Sergeant with the United States Army. He served 21 years with 3 years in active combat in the Korean War. He was a 50 year Shriner and a 32nd degree Mason, Comer Lodge No. 417 in Watertown. Frank was a member of College Hills Church of Christ. Mr. Abercrombie was an avid fisherman, loved tending to his garden, and was a devoted supporter of the Alabama Crimson Tide football team. He will be missed by his family and friends.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 1st from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. with remarks and a closing prayer by John Grant at 5 p.m. at Partlow Funeral Chapel (602 South Cumberland St. Lebanon, TN). Services in Spring Hill, Alabama to be determined. https://partlowchapel.com
