Wesley Allen Whitaker passed away on April 1, 2025. He was the son of the late Wesley and Verna Whitaker. Wesley spent most of his career as a truck driver and had a deep love for the outdoors, enjoyed mowing and landscaping. He was an avid sports fan and had a big heart for his pets. Above all, Wesley was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Debra Whitaker; his children, Dana (Eric) Story, Nichole Whitaker, and Josh (Kristi) Whitaker; his brothers, Wayne and Warren Whitaker; and his sister, Cherie Graves. He was a proud grandfather to Alyssa, Madison, Zac (Jada), Ty, Ally, Ely, Wesley, Lydia, Cora, Wyatt, Keegan, Manola, Emmitt, Rosey, and Henry, and a beloved great-grandfather to Gracie and Oliver. He also leaves behind a large extended family who will cherish his memory.
Visitation will be held on April 8, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., with a funeral service to follow at 6:00 p.m.
