Tony Edward Chambers, age 70, of Mt. Juliet, TN peacefully entered into eternal rest on April 19, 2024.
Tony was born in Nashville, TN and was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Polly McPherson and brother-in-law, Michael Bullard.
He was a dispatcher for Jones Brothers and retired after 18 years of service. Always the practical joker, and known to relentlessly pick on his younger sisters, Tony was also a snake wrangler and a dog whisperer. He had an uncanny ability to communicate with dogs.
Tony was a dedicated Chicago Bears fan. He loved baseball and loved watching his grandchildren thrive in their pursuits whether it be baseball, basketball, cheerleading or singing. Tony was a man of God who was always willing to lend a helping hand or a comforting shoulder and will be immensely missed by all that loved him.

Grandchildren – Zachary, Anna (Daniel), Bryce, Christian (Hallie), Mylaiah, Miya, Marlee, Kayden and Jaxon
Special nieces – Rebecca (Andy) Corbin and Roxanne (Jason) Pardue
Numerous other nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and many other extended family members and friends
Furry friends – Abbi and Jenny the Jones Brothers guard dog
A Celebration of Life will be held from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Friday, April 26, 2024 at Bond Memorial Chapel where family and friends will gather to share stories and memories of Tony’s life.
Flowers accepted or memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the Alzheimer’s Foundation.
