Deborah Lynn Jones, lovingly known as Deb or DJ, age 70 of Louisville, Kentucky and formerly of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, July 11th, 2024.
Deborah was born on Monday, March 29th, 1954 in Montgomery County, Maryland, the daughter of the late William Leslie and Peggy Hurley Jones.
She is survived by nephew, Trey Render and wife, Angela of Newburgh, IN; brother-in-law, Jim Render of Louisville, KY. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Katherine Jones Render.
She graduated from Antioch High School in Antioch, Tennessee in 1972. She led on a nearly two-decade career as a radio disc jockey across the country in cities like Dallas, Texas, Jacksonville, Florida, and Honolulu, Hawaii. After retiring from DJ’ing she lived a peaceful life in Nashville, Tennessee where she helped her parents in retirement.
The Graveside Service will be held at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, on Saturday, August 10th, 2024 at 01:00 p.m.
