Sherian Ann Langford – age 76 of Lebanon passed away on Monday, May 25, 2026.
She was preceded in death by parents, Arthur Macon and Vada Virginia Lipscomb and brother-in-law, Steve Newsome.
Sherian is survived by husband of 55 years, Tony David Langford; daughters, Tanya (Johnny) Wolfe, Betsy (James) Flora, Deborah (Jason) Gibson; son, Robert (Amanda) Langford; grandchildren, Avery and Vada Jakalski, Hailei (Logan) Williamson, Aaylah Gibson, Christopher (Brooke) Wolfe, Faith Wolfe, London and Claire Langford; sister, Gail Newsome; and a host of nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
Sherian was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and faithful servant of the Lord whose gentle spirit and kind heart touched all who knew her. Known for being a very sweet person, she lived her life with compassion, faith, and devotion to her family and community.
At the age of 20, she was saved by the Lord’s grace, a moment that became the foundation of her life and testimony. In 1986, she was baptized by Elder Ricky White and was a faithful member of Rocky Grove Missionary Baptist Church.
Sherian found joy in the simple blessings of life. She loved canning garden vegetables, cooking meals for those she loved, and spending quiet moments reading. Her caring nature was also reflected in her work as a teacher’s aide for special needs children, where she showed patience, kindness, and a servant’s heart to every child she helped.
More than anything, her children and grandchildren were the center of her world. She treasured every moment spent with them and leaves behind a legacy of love, warmth, faith, and selfless devotion that will never be forgotten.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 28, 2026 at Partlow Funeral Chapel from 4 p.m.-7 p.m. Funeral Services will be on Friday, May 29, 2026 at 11 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service. Elder David Manning will officiate the service. Interment will be in the Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Christopher Wolfe, Avery Jakalski, Toby Newsome, Todd Newsome, Travis Newsome, Logan Williamson.
