It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Melinda Richardson, age 68, of Mt. Juliet, TN, who left this world on February 26th surrounded by loving family.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio to Charles and Marjorie (Knock) Green, Melinda graduated from the University of Cincinnati and built a fulfilling 30+ year career as a registered nurse, dedicating her life to caring for others. In 1978, she married the love of her life, Jeffrey Richardson, and together they built a beautiful life with their two children.
Mindy’s greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her loving husband, Jeffrey Richardson; her children, Bonnie Sager (Doug) and Blake Richardson (Allison); and her beloved grandchildren, Alan, Katie, and Gracie Sager. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Marjorie (Knock) Green.
Beyond family, she had a lifelong passion for the serenity of mountain landscapes, the loyal companionship of her dogs, and the simple pleasure of birdwatching.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to all who have reached out and expressed their support and love for Mindy.
