Martha Ann Leavell, age 87 of Mt. Juliet Tennessee, passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023.
Martha was born in Lyons, Kansas to Nellie Ewing and Fae Duncan.
During the Vietnam War, she worked at security signals and made bombs and ammunition. She enjoyed gardening, reading, and playing cards, especially bridge. She worked as a retail clerk.
Mrs. Leavell is survived by sons: Michael (Denise) Leavell and Mitchell (Mickie) Leavell; grandchildren: Crystal (Clint) Thomas, Kari Leavell (Ryan) McMillan, Clint (Tasha) Leavell, Jewell (Joshua) Lawson, and Nicholas Leavell; brothers Bill (Sherry) Duncan and John (Nancy) Duncan; great-grandchildren: Kylan Thomas, Corbin Thomas, Lexi Leavell, and Coleman Leavell; and special friend: Lewis Crook.
She is preceded in death by husband Bobby Leavell, daughter Marcia Ann Leavell, son Mark Duncan Leavell, sister Phyllis Webb, and parents Nellie and Fae Duncan.
The Graveside Service is at 2 p.m. Thursday, November 9, 2023, at Cedar Grove Cemetery. Friends and family will serve as Pallbearers.
