Wyma Jane Rose Daniel. age 90, passed away Monday morning, Nov. 6, 2023 at her family farm in the Norene Community.
Born June 8, 1933 in Carthage, TN, she was the daughter of the late Elisha Nathan Gillespie and Mary Hensley Gillespie.
Wyma was preceded in death by her husbands, Charles Heber Rose in 1971 and Billy Lowell Daniel in 2017; and a son, Charles Wyman Rose in 2016.
She was a 1951 graduate of Lebanon High School and retired as a Customer Service Representative for The Tennessean and The Nashville Banner. Wyma was a member of the Shop Springs Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, James Richard “Jimmy” Rose and his wife, Theda of Lebanon; granddaughter, Sommer Rose Worley and her husband, John of McMinnville; great-grandchildren, Gabriel (Holly) Tupper, William Cutler Worley and Savannah Rose Worley; stepchildren, Charles Lowell Daniel and Mary Lynn Takashima both of Memphis and Carol Lee Hayes of Dickson.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2023 at Hunter Funeral Home with her granddaughter, Pastor Sommer Rose Worley officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. till service time on Wednesday. Interment will be at the Fairview Cemetery in Norene. https://www.hunterfuneral.com
