Margaret B. Major, age 94 of Lebanon passed away Friday, December 17, 2021, at her son’s residence.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Vera Brooks; husband, Reid Hunt Major; and brothers, Andrew Brooks & Harold Brooks.
She is survived by her son, Alan (Tammy) Major; grandson, Colten (Katie) Major; great-grandson, Ben Reid Major; nieces, Amanda (Bruce) Baird and Pat (Michael) Embree; nephew, John (Edna) Major; cousins, Roy (Linda) Ashton and Joy (Ronald) McEwaney; special friends, Dean Sandland and Betty Lynn; caregiver, Dorothy Dunn; and a special thank you to Avalon Hospice for their care.
Mrs. Major was a member of Maple Hill Church of Christ. She worked at Dupont and retired from Toshiba.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 19, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Partee House, 233 West Main Street, Lebanon, TN 37087. Visitation on Monday, December 20th at the Christian Life Chapel, 105 Holloway Drive, Lebanon, Tn. 37087 from 12 noon until funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at the church. Bro. Raymond Burns and Bro. Shane Franklin will officiate.
Interment, Cedar Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Howard Crutcher, Jason Agnew, Jeff Lannom, Eddie Bennett, Rodney Gross, and Buddy Sloan.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Mrs. Majors’ memory to The American Heart Association or to Sherry’s Hope.
