Kay Hammers, age 72 of Lebanon passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2024.
She was preceded in death by parents, Marion Odell Pilkinton and Ruby Evelyn Abernathy.
She is survived by husband and love of her life of 32 years, Keith Hammers; sons, Jamie Cook (Tommy Johnson) and Bryan (Nichole) Hammers; daughters, Michelle Hammers and Crystal (Rob) Eisenlohr; 10 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild; brother, Roger Pilkinton; sister, Joyce (Bob) Moss and many extended family and friends.
Kay was a 1969 graduate of Maplewood High School and retired from HCA Southern Hills Hospital with 35 years of service. She was of Cherokee heritage and enjoyed all kinds of crafts. Kay enjoyed traveling, decorating for Christmas, and loved her many pets. She was one in a million and we were all better for having her in our lives.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Immanuel Baptist Church on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at 3 p.m. with visitation from 12 noon until the service.
