David Dickens passed away on October 8, 2024 at age 68.
David Carl Dickens was born in Nashville TN to Lelai Mai Beal Dickens and Wesley Adder Dickens.
He worked as a construction service manager. David was a family man who loved working around the house.
David is preceded in death by his wife of 40 years and the love of his life, Bobbie Dickens, son-in-law James Steven “PeeWee” Leduc; parents W.A. and Lelai Dickens, brothers James, Wesley, John, Bobby Jr., and Bobby Gene, and sister Mai Denny.
He is survived by children: Walter Neal Jr., Teresa Leduc, and Rachel Dickens Mathis; grandchildren: Jordan Swindell, Brianna Taylor, Austin (Ambriele) Neal, Dylan Neal, and Kelsey Leduc; great-grandchildren: Lilly Neal and Peyton Swindell; and sister: Dorothy Brewer.
The Funeral Service is at 1 p.m. on Friday, October 11, 2024 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN. Interment beside his beloved wife in Bethlehem Cemetery will follow the service. Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers. The family will be receiving friends at Sellars Funeral Home on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. and on Friday from 12 p.m. until the service at 1 p.m.
