Brandon James Thompson, age 34, of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee passed away on Friday, January 19th, 2024.
He was born in Nashville, TN to James Thompson and Sharon Vanderpool.
Brandon was raised in Mount Juliet and was known to most by the nickname “BUH” a name given as a child by his friends. Brandon was a graduate of Mt. Juliet High School and went on to attend IIA Culinary School of the Arts. He was the ultimate Tennessee Vols fan. He was also a loyal fan to the Tennessee Titans and Nashville Predators.
Brandon blessed those around him with his huge smile, open heart, and strong soul. He embraced every opportunity to celebrate life with an unmatched level of joy and laughter that was contagious. He had the gift of making every day feel like a good day and making every friend feel like a special friend.

He is survived by: Parent(s) Sharon and Walter Vanderpool and James and Dayna Thompson, Surviving Grandmothers Carole McConnico and Vera Vanderpool, Siblings; Sisters Janice Morgan, Maigan (William) Knight, Carole Ruth Thompson, Brothers Wendell Thompson and Isaac Thompson, Nieces Ellee Knight, Caroline Knight, Faith Thompson and Billie Knight Nephews Kaleb Vanderpool, Dalton Thompson, Logan Shook, and William Knight.
Funeral services with speakers of family and friends will be conducted from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, January 26, 2024 at Bond Memorial Chapel.
