John “Brad” Beavers passed away December 8, 2025 surrounded by his loving family at the age of 73.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Otis and Frances Beavers; sister, Judy Land; brothers-in-law, Dr. Donald Felker and Wilbur Felker; sister-in-law, Gelaine Felker; father and mother-in-law, Ed and Ruby Felker.
Survived by his loving wife of 53yrs, Martha Beavers; daughters, Melissa (Mark) Crawford, Villa Rica, GA, Tracy Beavers, Murfreesboro, TN, and Kelly Beavers Smith, Mt. Juliet, TN; grandchildren, Destinee Peyton Smith, Mt. Juliet, TN, Zach Crawford, Villa Rica, GA, Taylor (Tiffany) Beavers, Murfreesboro, TN, Hunter (Meagan) Bratcher, Columbia, TN, and Madi Tibbs, Murfreesboro, TN; siblings, Jerry (Mae) Beavers, Kathy Gardenhire, Mandy (Anthony) Hughes, Kristi (Gabe) Queen; great grandson, Isaiah Turner, Murfreesboro, TN; brother-in-law, Kirby (Tatiana) Felker; Nieces and nephews, Eric (Wendi) Beavers, Jason (Angela) Beavers, Ronda Bengfort, Emilee (Jason) Smith, Beth (Travis) Grubb, Kacie (Chris) Tullis, Andrew Gardenhire, Kerry Manning, Clayton (Christine) Felker, Camberly (Chandler) Coe, Cristan (David) Haliburten, and Tony Felker.
Brad was a member of Ministry Center Church of God in Lebanon. He loved playing golf, softball, gardening, and tinkering in his garage. He worked for the City of Murfreesboro as a Senior Public Work Inspector.
Visitation will be held at Sellars Funeral Home Mt. Juliet, Sunday, December 14, 2025 from 1:00pm-3:00pm, with Memorial Service at 3:00pm.
