Robert Kenneth LaMott, 82, of Watertown Tennessee, passed away Sunday, December 7, 2025 at home on his farm after an extended illness. He was born in Hanover, New Hampshire on March 23, 1943.
Bob as he was fondly referred to, graduated from Enfield High School in Enfield, New Hampshire while also working at the local Woolen Mill. After graduation Bob went to work for a plumbing company. In 1964 he married Joyce Eastman. He began working with the Veterans Administration Hospital (VA Hospital) in White River, Vermont. He transferred with the VA to Lake City Florida and then lastly to Murfreesboro Tennessee where he took early retirement at the age of 55 as The Chief of Maintenance and Operations. He enjoyed the rest of his time working on their farm.
Bob had many hobbies to include; fly fishing, skiing, ice skating, hunting, farming, spending time with his family and grandchildren. He was best known for always helping anyone in need. He truly was the jack of all trades.
Bob was preceded in death by his mother, Doris LaMott, father, Kenneth LaMott and sister, Nancy Watrous. He is survived by his loving wife, Joyce, of 61 years, his son, Christopher LaMott (Joanna) of Nashville TN, his daughter, Lisa Butler (Kenneth) of Lake City, FL, his grandchildren Morgan Fox (Tyler), Caleb LaMott, Lauren Cox (Joel) and Andrew LaMott (Olivia), great-grandchildren, Scarlett Fox, Abigail LaMott, Easton Cox, Isaac and Gideon LaMott along with many nieces and a nephew.
