The Lebanon City Council voted unanimously to approve a resolution by Mayor Rick Bell to support the 25th observance of the “Day of Prayer for our Schools” on Sunday, July 30th.
This special event encourages all churches in our community to dedicate a few minutes during their church service to pray for the upcoming school year.
Long-time Lebanon resident and Kiwanis Club of Lebanon member Eddie Callis spoke during the council meeting, recalling the origin of this annual event.
