The celebrations will begin in Dickson on Wednesday, Aug. 26, followed by Lebanon on Wednesday, Sept. 2, and Murfreesboro on Thursday, Sept. 10. Each location will hold an 8:30 a.m. ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The new stores will offer Wawa’s fresh food, beverages, convenience items, and fuel. Grand opening events will also feature community partnerships and the company’s “Hoagies for Heroes” initiative, which recognizes local everyday heroes.

The new locations are:

  • Dickson: 2424 Highway 46 South
  • Lebanon: 1000 Murfreesboro Road
  • Murfreesboro: 5208 Veterans Parkway

Wawa said it expects to have as many as seven stores open in Tennessee by the end of 2026. Looking ahead, the company plans to open more than 50 locations across the state over the next decade.

According to the company, each new store represents an investment of more than $7.5 million, creates work for about 140 contractors and local partners during construction, and will employ an average of 35 people once open. Wawa estimates its Tennessee expansion will create approximately 1,750 long-term jobs.

The company is also hiring associates for its Tennessee stores as it prepares for additional openings later this year.
