October 24, 2023 – Officers responded to a shoplifting in progress at Academy Sports on Tuesday.
The suspects were quickly apprehended, and two were found to be fugitives out of Kentucky and Wisconsin.
A 46-year-old female from Nashville was wanted out of Kentucky for a felony probation violation related to a home burglary. A 55-year-old female was wanted out of Wisconsin for 5 counts of forgery, 3 counts of theft, and 2 counts of theft from a financial institution. She was also wanted out of Ashland City for a probation violation related to shoplifting and burglary.
In the suspects’ car, stolen items from various stores were recovered along with further evidence of fraud.
