Vissia Mae Hudson, age 92 of Lebanon, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2022 at her residence.
Born June 24, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Bill Hallums and Cornelia Boston Hallums.
Vissia was preceded in death by her husband, Ollie Ray Hudson; sister, Minnette Nettles and brother, Charles Ray Hallums.
She was a member of Maple Hill Church of Christ, a retired hairdresser and active member of the Red Hats.
Vissia is survived by her daughter Patricia Carr and her husband, Jerry; grandchildren, Melissia (Jackie) Hopkins and Thomas Jordan “T.J.” Carr; great-grandchildren, Tim (Alexa) Kamer, Zackary (Kelcie) Kamer, Molly (Justin) Hensley, Maggie (Matthew) Watkins; great-great-grandchildren, Zackary, Jackson and Gracie Kamer, Colton Watkins and Samuel Hensley; sisters, Lillian (Dallas) Plumlee and Nancy (George) Allen; brother, Tom (Gertrude) Hallums; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, 2022 at Hunter Funeral Home. Visitation 4-8 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. till service time on Saturday. Pallbearers, Tim and Zack Kamer, T.J.
