Terry Bates Merritt, age 62 of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, November 29, 2023.
Terry was preceded in death by mother, Elizabeth Bates.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Steven Merritt; son, Del Merritt; daughter, Holly (Dustin) Hepburn; father, Robert Wayne Bates; brothers, Paul Wayne “Skip” (Carol) Bates and Steve (Gail) Burnette; father- & mother-in-law, James & Barbara Merritt; brother-in-law, Scott (Donna) Merritt; sister-in-law, Kelley (Kenneth) Atkins; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held Sunday, December 3rd at 2 pm at Sellars Funeral Home at Mt. Juliet with Pastor Wade Cummins officiating. Interment will follow the service at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be on Saturday, December 2nd from 4-8 pm and one hour prior to the service on Sunday, December 3rd.
