Susie passed away leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and devotion to those around her. A faithful member of Rome Church of Christ, Susie deeply loved her church and, above all, her Lord.

Family was the center of Susie’s world. She dearly loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, cherishing each moment spent with them and finding great joy in their lives. Her home was always a place of warmth, comfort, and belonging.

For many years, Susie lovingly kept children in her home, caring for them as if they were her own. She nurtured them in countless ways—many unseen and unspoken—offering patience, kindness, guidance, and love that only she could give. Her influence on those children will forever be a part of who they are.

Susie was a wonderful baker who enjoyed learning new recipes and sharing her creations with family and friends. She also had a special talent for shopping, always finding the perfect gift or item for those she loved, thoughtfully chosen with them in mind.

Her life was a blessing, and her memory will be treasured by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at Partlow Funeral Chapel from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. with graveside services to follow in the Wilson County Memorial Gardens. Matthew Oxley will officiate the services. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
