Rev. Clifford Wayne Spence age 73 of Lebanon, died Friday morning, March 17, 2023 at the Lebanon Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Born Oct. 15, 1949 in Ben Creek, W. VA, he was the son of the late Melvin and Pearl Gibson Spence and was preceded in death by a son, Jonathan Wayne Spence and his sister, Judy Woodard.
Rev. Spence was a church planner and Administrative Bishop of Church of God World Missions, he served as Pastor of the Alexandria Church of God.
Clifford is survived by his wife, Jean Shortridge Spence of Lebanon; son, David Spence and his wife, Dana of Lebanon; granddaughters, Kelly Spence of Detroit, MI, Emily and Audrey Spence of Lebanon; great-grandson, Raymond Nester IV of Detroit, MI; brothers, Ron (Rita) Spence of Flatwoods, KY and Mark (Paula) Spence of Merrillville, IN; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, March 20, 2023 at the Ministry Center Church of God, 1007 Hartsville Pike in Lebanon with Rev. David Spence, Rev. Gordon Lee and Rev. Drew Eastes officiating. Visitation 3-7 p.m. Sunday at the church and 9 a.m. till service time Monday. Interment will be at Hunter Memorial Park in Watertown. https://www.hunterfuneral.com
