Reta Fay Waits, age 83 of Watertown, Tennessee passed away on Saturday morning, March 18, 2023 at her residence.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Waits in 2018, together they operated Waits Grocery for 22 years.
Born June 14, 1939 in Corning, AR, Reta was one of eight children of Floyd Hager and Martha Perryman Hagar, she was preceded in death by her 3 sisters, Eva March, Vida Hurst and Ila Joyce Edington; and 4 brothers, Cleo, Earl, Merl and Cyril Hagar.
Reta was a member of Watertown Church of Christ and enjoyed spending time caring for her flowers and yard.
She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Shuman and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Hunter Funeral Home with visitation from Noon till service time on Thursday. Friends and church members will serve as pallbearers.
