Ralph Thomas Summers, age 86, of Lebanon, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2023.
Ralph was born in Brownsville, TN and was the son of the late, Thomas Revo Summers and Katy Elizabeth Forrest Summers.
He was a member of Mt. Juliet Church of Christ and was retired from Greyhound. Ralph enjoyed playing the piano, loved animals and was a superb gardener. Above all else, he loved his family.
Ralph was also preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Frances “Polly” Moore Summers; son, Stephen David Summers; brother, Johnny C. Summers and sister, Margaret Reasons.
He is survived by:
Children – Mark (Julie) Summers, Amy (Lex) Conatser and Phil (Melissa) Summers
Grandchildren – Jared DeSoto, Michael Conatser, Ashley Batson, Rachel Conatser, Megan Summers, Christina Summers, Kate Summers, Ryan Summers and Will Summers
Great-grandchildren – Cole Batson, Saylor Batson, Easton Conatser, Hayes Batson and Baby Conatser due in November 2023
Graveside services were conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, October 15, 2023 at Mt. Juliet Memorial Gardens with Philip Jenkins officiating. Pallbearers will be Michael Conatser, Ryan Summers, Will Summers, Hunter Batson, Jeff Hicks and James Herron.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Leash On Life.
