Pauline Thomas age 91 of the Greenvale Community, died Friday, Aug. 30, 2024 at American House Senior Living in Lebanon, She was the daughter of the late Herman Lanier and Annie Lou Scurlock Lanier and was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Clyde Thomas, her sister, Nell Hill and brother, Harold Lanier.
Pauline and her late husband, Clyde, lived on a 200-acre farm for almost 60 years and were members of Greenvale Baptist Church. Her life was fulfilled by raising three children and assisting in the operation of the farm.
Pauline is survived by her children; Ray Thomas and wife, Crystal of Mt. Juliet; Joan Dotson and husband, Art of Lebanon; Alan Thomas and wife, Kandi of Murfreesboro; two sisters, Ruth Kyle and Louise Tarpley; as well as 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 1, 2024 at Hunter Funeral Home with Dr. Hunter Hay officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. till service time on Sunday. Interment will be at Greenvale Cemetery. Pallbearers, Adam Thomas, Mitch Hight, Chase Prince, Caleb Augustin, Dylan Hight, Mike Mobley.
