Margaret Lucille Vanatta age 92 formerly of Watertown, passed away on Saturday, July 27, 2024 at The Gardens at Providence Way in Mt. Juliet.
Born March 16, 1932 in South Pittsburg, TN, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Alma “Polly” Dyer Mount.
Margaret was a 1950 graduate of Watertown High School and was Lending Officer and Manager for Associates Finance.
She is survived by her children, Rene’ Edens of Old Hickory and Phillip Lynn Vanatta of Donelson; grandchildren, Stephanie (Ryan) Schritenthal, Denny (Aaron) Edens, Jesse Vanatta and Lacy Vanatta; great-grandchildren, Danyon Edens and Dustin (Holly) Edens; great-great-grandchildren, Aceson Vanatta and Hadley Edens; sisters, Alma Hudson of Smithville and Sherry Mount of Brush Creek; brother, Glen (Elaine) Mount of Lebanon; sister-in-law, Barbara Vanatta of Alexandria; nieces and nephews.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn O. Vanatta in 2012; son-in-law, Paul Edens; sister, Kathering Driver, brother, Bobby G. Mount and 3 infant siblings.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at Hunter Funeral Home with visitation from 11 a.m. till service time on Tuesday. Interment will follow at Vanatta Cemetery. https://www.hunterfuneral.com
