Lela Mullins, age 64, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at Adams Place in Murfreesboro, TN.
A long-time resident of Nashville, Lela was a spirited and tenacious woman who touched the lives of everyone she met. She held a special place in her heart for her beloved dogs, particularly her final faithful companion, Tybee, who brought her immeasurable joy.
Lela is survived by her brother, Petey Mullins, her half-brother, Greg Beatty, and her beloved nephews, Brandon Mullins and Justin Mullins. During her teenage years, she was lovingly raised by Judy Brown, who welcomed her into her home and heart as one of her own.
Professionally, Lela was a trailblazer. She climbed the ranks at ADS Security, ultimately serving as Vice President of Call Center Operations. Her leadership, grit, and unwavering determination left an indelible mark on her colleagues and the organization. Lela’s vibrant personality and genuine care for others helped her forge lifelong friendships, including those with Betsy Kameron, Randle Marsh, and Paul and Julie Hoard.
Lela was truly a force of nature-resilient, bold, and fiercely loyal. To know her was to love her, and her legacy will be cherished by all whose lives she enriched.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 22nd at the American Legion Post 88 from 12:00 pm until 3:00pm. The address is 2717 McCampbell Avenue, Nashville, TN 37214.
