January 28, 2025 – On Tuesday morning, officers responded to the RaceTrac gas station on S. Cumberland in reference to a vehicle that had just been stolen while the owner was inside. Officers immediately began canvassing the area.
With the assistance of Safenet technology, officers were able to quickly locate the vehicle at the QuikTrip gas station on Sparta Pike.
The suspect, a 33-year-old male from Mississippi, was arrested without incident and charged with theft of property.
