Karla Laine (Moon) Stephens of Burkesville, Kentucky, passed away on February 23, 2026 after a courageous battle with melanoma. She was born on March 7, 1979, to Philip Landon Moon and Bonnie Lou Graham Moon (Fisher). Karla was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, and friend.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, and she is survived by her parents, Philip and Bonnie Moon; her children, Tanner and Morgan Stephens; her brother, Philip Moon, Jr.; her sister, Holly (Moon) Cooper; and her beloved pet, Bella.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Hall Funeral Home, 202 W. Main St., Livingston, Kentucky. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM and continue until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Melanoma Research Foundation.
