Debi Murphy Chaophasy Adcox age 62, formerly of Watertown, died Tuesday evening, Feb. 24, 2026 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro. Born March 3, 1963, she was the daughter of Royce Murphy and the late Jeanette West Murphy. Debi was preceded in death by her husbands, Sourilamphone “Thik” Chaophasy and Terry Adcox; brother-in-law, Tommy McKinney; nephew, Justin McKinney; mother-in-law, Phongsavanh Chaophrasy and father-in-law, Chansamouth Chaophrasy; brother-in-law, Todd Chaophrasy and close friend, Jeff Phillips.
Debi was a 1981 graduate of Watertown High School and along with her late husband operated Terry’s Custom Motorcycle Seats.
She is survived by her children, Carra Martin (Eric) of Manchester, Nick Chaophasy (Robin) and Jaden Chaophasy (Ai) both of Murfreesboro; her father, Royce Murphy of Statesville; sisters Vickie Murphy Knopp and Connie Murphy McKinney. Debi is also survived by her stepchildren, Jeremy Fitzgerald, Mindi West and Terri Hannah Adcox; step grandchildren, Olivia West, Jocelyn West and Zappa Fitzgerald; special friends, Lori Cooper and Rachel Cantrell, many nieces and nephews, and her beloved cats, Sage and Ashe.
Visitation will be from 2:30 p.m. till 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb, 27, 2026 at Hunter Funeral in Watertown. Family and friends will celebrate Debi’s life at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb.28, 2026 at Central Funeral Home, 2812 Hillsboro Hwy., Manchester, TN 37355. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. til service time at 1 p.m. Pallbearers will be Jason West, Joseph Cook, Mitchell Knopp, Took Chaophrasy, Pascal Chaophrasy. Interment will follow at the Concord Cemetery in Tullahoma.
