June Matthews, age 85 of Lebanon, passed away on April 3, 2026. The Funeral Service, conducted by Brother Johnathan Richerson, is 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 7, 2026 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN. Interment in Wilson County Memorial will follow the service. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until the service at 1 p.m.
June Etta Null Matthews was born in Sparta TN one of four children to Nola Mae Price Null and Roy Null. June married Paul Lee Matthews and joined him at his business, Spectrum Plastics. She worked as his secretary from 1970 until her retirement. June dedicated her life to her family, friends, community, and her church family. She was a member of West Haven Baptist Church and the Republican Women of Wilson County. Flower gardening and cooking for the family brought great satisfaction.
June is survived by children: Kimberly (Jeff) Watkins, Theresa (Jay) Fitts, Linda (Tom) Huett, Diane (Darrell) Boaz, Brenda (Donald) Travis, and Brian (Becki) Matthews; grandchildren: Krissa Stephens, Shana King, Chance Watkins, and Olivia Evans; sister: Betty Sue Brown; great-grandchildren: Adelyn, Palyn, Preston, Ellie, and many more grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family. She is preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Paul Lee Matthews, daughter Rhonda Annette Henry, stepson Danny Matthews, grandson Jonathan Watkins, parents Nola and Roy Null, and brothers John Franklin Null and Bufford Null.
The family extends their special thanks to the staff of Gentiva Hospice and Hearthside Senior Living. In lieu of flowers, please make Memorial Donations in her name to West Haven Baptist Church in Lebanon.
