Judy W. Simmons, age 78 of Lebanon, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, June 27, 2023.
She was born in Nashville, Tennessee on December 26th, 1944 to the late Carl and Helen White.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jim Simmons Jr. and 4 siblings.
Survived by her children, Kelly (Clay) Loring and Jay (Tina) Simmons; grandchildren, Abby (Derek) Westbrook, Cole Loring and Makenzie Simmons and brother, James Herbert White.
Judy was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ, and in her younger years, was an avid tennis and softball player. Her love of numbers led her to a successful career as a bookkeeper in the family business. Her precision and attention to detail were unmatched while supporting Jim Simmons Company in all capacities.
Judy adored animals and especially loved petting her puppies and caring for the family horses. She will be deeply missed, but her wisdom and guidance will live on in the hearts of those who she loved.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 30, 2023 at Partlow Funeral Chapel, 233 West Main Street from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. with funeral services to follow at 4:00 pm. A private graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 1, 2023 at Springhill Cemetery.
