Joseph Anthony “Nick” Borski, age 78, of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2024.
Nick was born in Vancouver, WA and was the son of the late, Xavier Nicholas Borski and Priscilla Borski Pippin.
At an early age, his family moved to Yuba City, CA. Nick was a graduate of Yuba City High School. After graduation, Nick joined the U.S. Air Force to serve his country. He was a Manufacturing Engineer and while he worked for several companies in his lifetime, he retired from Flexsol Packaging Company.
However, Nick’s favorite job was at Gibson Guitars due to his love of guitars. Nick was talented in so many different ways. He enjoyed collecting guitars, drawing, drafting, woodworking and creating artwork, but his happiest times were spent with his family being all together, regardless of where they were.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, August and Katherine Borski and Stanley and Rose Nagorski.
He is survived by:
Wife of 57 years – Anita Jarvis Borski
Sons – Todd (Sherry) Borski and Christopher (Jenni) Borski
Brothers – Chuck Pippin, Wayne Pippin, and Richard Pippin
Sister – Geraldine Borski Espinoza
Grandchildren – Kasey, Alexa, Kaylee Erin and Sydney
Several nieces and nephews
Funeral services were conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, February 25, 2024 at Bond Memorial Chapel with Mike Floyd and Joe Brown officiating. Interment with military honors will be 11 a.m. Monday at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery in Walling, TN.
