James Morrison Rice, a beloved member of the community, passed away on April 10, 2024, at the age of 63.
He was born in Nashville to his parents, James Morrison Rice Sr and Peggy Parman.
James was a devout Baptist and was known for his strong faith and dedication to his church.
James was preceded in death by his father, James Rice Sr., and his brother, Kevin Rice.
He is survived by his mother Peggy Rice; his loving wife of 44 years, Cindy Rice; his sister Phyllis (Michael) McCaleb his children James M. Rice III, and Justin C. Rice, and his grandchild, Lisa Rice.
James was a man who loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also had a passion for water skiing and spent many weekends at the lake with family and friends. James was always up for a good time and loved dancing, riding his motorcycle, and shooting pool.
James will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His infectious smile, kind heart, and adventurous spirit will never be forgotten. Rest in peace, James, and may your memory be a blessing to all who know you.
Services for James will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024, from 10 a.m. until 12p.m with the service immediately following visitation, which will be held at Sellars Funeral Home in Mount Juliet, TN.
