Ilaina Andrews age 78 of Lebanon, TN passed away July 25th, 2026.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Hiram and Ruth Straughn; sister, Sheila Straughn Bussey and brother, Hiram Hayes Straughn Jr.

She is survived by husband of 42 years, Phillip Andrews; daughters, Carissa Andrews (Thomas) Bearup, Ashley Andrews (Andrew) Terry, Diana Andrews (Griffin) Smith; grandchildren, Riley Jackson Bearup and Michaela Dawn Terry; nephews, W.C. Bussey Jr., Terry Bussey, and Perry Bussey and many other loving family members.

Ilaina was born and raised in Andalusia, Alabama, where she graduated from Andalusia High School in 1966. She later graduated from the University of New Orleans. Ilaina and her husband made their home in Homewood, Alabama, where they raised their family before moving to Lebanon, Tennessee, in 2018. After relocating, her and her husband became devoted members of Fairview Church, where she faithfully served in the nursery and joyfully shared the love of Christ with everyone she met.

A true disciple of Jesus, Ilaina lived her faith every day. Her unwavering relationship with the Lord inspired those around her, especially her husband, whose own faith grew stronger because of her example. As he often said, “There will never be another woman who could compare.” Ilaina was a natural leader who led by example through her kindness, compassion, and servant’s heart. She volunteered at Joseph’s Storehouse Food Ministry, always putting others before herself and offering encouragement wherever it was needed.

She deeply loved her family, especially her husband, children, and grandchildren. She found joy in tending her garden and nurturing her beautiful flowers. Her husband affectionately called her “Snow White” because of her special love for animals, which reflected her gentle and caring spirit. Ilaina will be remembered as a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, faithful friend, and woman of unwavering faith. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Visitation for Mrs. Ilaina will be held Saturday August 8th, 2026 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. with a Celebration of Life Service to be held at 11 a.m. in the Partlow Funeral Chapel.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Sherry’s Hope. https://sherryshope.org/donate-now/
