OBITUARY: Edward Isaiah ‘Junior’ Bain

Edward Isaiah “Junior” Bain age 90 of Watertown, passed away on Sunday morning, May 19, 2024 at his residence.

Born May 19, 1934 in Statesville, Junior was the son of the late Zear Bain and Mary Jane Hendrix Bain.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Matilda Hudson, Ethel Hudson, Alma Hughes, Elsie Tarpley and Goldie Lorance; and brothers, Tommy, James and Paul Bain and infant Howard David Bain.

Junior was a 1955 graduate of Watertown High School and a veteran of the US Army. He retired from TRW Ross Gear after 37 years of service and was a member of the Watertown First Baptist Church.

Junior is survived by his wife, Elsie Neal Bain; children, Brent Bain (Amy) of Smyrna, Wendell Bain (Pam) of Watertown, Amy Maynard (Stuart) of Lebanon, Lacee Martin (Josh) of Watertown; grandchildren, Michael Bain (Jessie), Daniel Bain (Mandy), Chelsea Mofield, Benjamin Bain (Morgan Disman), Meagan and Morgan Bain, Presley Thomas, Caleb Cannon; 9 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at Hunter Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Burns and Bro. Don Mathis officiating. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Monday and 10 a.m. till service time Tuesday. Pallbearers, Michael Bain, Daniel Bain, Ben Bain, Caleb Cannon, Josh Martin, Stuart Maynard, Mike McMillen.
