In Loving Memory of Andrew (Andy) Edward Akin

Andrew (Andy) Edward Akin, 60, of Lebanon, Tennessee, passed away on May 16, 2025. Born in Nashville, he lived a life full of grit, humor, and love.
A McGavock High School graduate, Andy worked as a tow truck driver and car hauler. He loved the road, engines, and the freedom they brought.
Andy enjoyed the outdoors – camping, boating, dirt biking, grilling, and cooking breakfast for family and friends. He kept life simple and full of good times.
He is survived by his partner, Tonya Wilson; daughter, Adrienne Akin McDonald (Jacob); stepchildren, Lauren Mills (Tyler) and Andrew Wilson; brothers, Hank and Bobby Akin; and five grandchildren Sawyer, Lincoln, Noah, Grace, and Wilson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Claudia and Henry Akin, and brother, Ricky Akin.
Andy’s spirit lives on in stories told, engines revved, and memories shared. He was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
Celebration of life for Andy will be held at Round Lick Baptist Church
