Alice Marie Butler, age 88 of Watertown, passed away on Thursday morning, May 23, 2024 at her residence.
Born Dec. 22, 1935 in Liberty, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Pearl George Tarpley.
Alice was preceded in death by the father of her children, Ben Butler; her sisters, Elizabeth McClellon and Ann Goad; and brothers, Don, Carter and J.D. Tarpley.
She was a longtime employee of Texas Boot Company.
Alice is survived by her daughters, Sandra Adams (David) of Gladeville and Diane Parsley (Doug) of Watertown; grandchildren, David Adams, Tabitha Clemmons (Jamie), Jenna Davis, Davina Linder (Greg), April Smith, Natalie Adams, Rhiannon Hiter (Nick); great-grandchildren, Isaac Clemmons, Noah Clemmons, Dawson Davis, Gabby Clemmons, Madison Davis, Ethan Hiter, Ansleigh Niter, Valerie Glenn (Josh), Blake Smith (Ali), Ben Smith (Leirin), Aaron Morris (Duda), Cole Morris; great-great grandchildren, Koen Burns and Carter Glenn.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 26, 2024 at Hunter Funeral Home with visitation from 10 a.m. till service time on Sunday. Interment will be at Jones Hill Cemetery. https://www.hunterfuneral.com
