From Mt. Juliet Police:
Mt. Juliet officers are investigating a shooting incident at the McDonald’s (126 N Mt. Juliet Rd) parking lot. The alleged shooter is in custody.
Gratefully, there are no current reports of any injuries.
Preliminary, two men were in an altercation, and it led to one of the men firing shots at the other’s vehicle. Officers quickly arrived in the area and located the alleged shooter, who is in custody. The other man involved fled the area prior to police arrival.
Detectives are responding to the scene, and they will be gathering all available evidence.
