The community is invited to honor local first responders this Saturday, August 1, at the 2nd Annual Community Heroes Day. Click for More Events
The free, family-friendly event will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Slow Hand Bakehouse, 111 S. Greenwood St. in Lebanon. The celebration is dedicated to thanking members of the Lebanon Fire Department, Lebanon Police Department, Wilson County Sheriff’s Office and local EMS for their service to the community.
Guests can meet local public safety agencies while taking part in a full day of family activities, including a face painter, bubbles, sidewalk chalk, yard games and other surprises.
Olivia Cocktail & Oyster Bar will provide a hotdog bar for attendees.
“Together, we thank you” is the theme of the day, celebrating the brave men and women who keep the Wilson County community safe.
Community members are encouraged to stop by, meet local heroes and take part in the celebration.
