On Friday, January 13, 2023, officers responded to the Dollar General located on Hunters Point Pike regarding an armed suspect.
Officers were able to locate and arrest Joshua Yates (31, Unknown). Yates had taken a cell phone from the store and when approached by an employee, he brandished a knife, which he stole from the store.
Yates exited the store but was located soon after. Yates is facing possible aggravated assault, aggravated robbery, and theft charges.
