Sunday, May 29, 11:00am-2:00pm

12192 Lebanon Rd, Mt. Juliet, TN

Prost and Riot

It’s Prost and Riot’s last brunch of the season! If you have been putting it off, now is your last chance to experience their special brunch menu until next year! Prost and Riot are not the owners’ names, but rather an homage to Germany. Lebanon resident and co-owner, Brent Beimfohr, parents are both German. “Prost” is the German word for “cheers” as a salutation accompanied by beer. And “riot” is the German word for something funny that results in “intense, unrestrained laughter.”

3955 Nolensville Pike St. 107, Nashville, TN

Hispanic Family Foundation

The All of Us Research Program’s Journey mobile exhibit is traveling across the country to engage communities that have been historically underrepresented in medical research. All of Us is inviting one million or more people to help build one of the most diverse health databases of its kind and advance precision medicine. Since the program launched in 2018, the Journey has visited more than 100 cities in over 40 states. Several local community partners will join the Journey on stops in the region, including FiftyForward, the National Alliance for Hispanic Health (NAHH), the American Association on Health and Disability (AAHD), the Hispanic Family Foundation, and Empower Tennessee. In Nashville, the Journey will be available to educate and register new participants for the program. With more enrollment and representation from area residents, researchers can help better address health issues that are prevalent in the community.
